How to play
You play the side to move. Find the winning move: mate, or a tactic that wins.
Tap a piece, then tap the square it goes to, or drag the piece there. When a pawn reaches the last rank, you choose what it becomes.
Your opponent replies on their own, and you follow the line until the puzzle is solved.
A wrong move costs a mistake, and you try again. After two mistakes, we skip the puzzle. The leaderboard counts puzzles solved on the first try, then mistakes, and last time.
Achievements
Five for fiveSolve all five puzzles in a set on the first try.
Sharp eyeSolve a puzzle rated 1800 or higher on the first try.
The long gameFinish a long run of fifteen puzzles.
You collect achievements when you join the leaderboard with a result.
